# Is an internet connection necessary to share information?

## Find out whether you need an internet connection to share your Linq profile using your products.

**Answer:**  
✅ **No internet connection is required for others to receive your information.**

Here’s how it works:

- When someone **taps your NFC product** or **scans your QR code**, their device opens your Linq profile in their browser using their own mobile data or Wi-Fi connection.
- You only need internet access to **edit** your profile or make updates in the Linq app.

**Notes & Tips:**

- Your product’s QR code and NFC chip work independently — there’s no battery or Bluetooth required.
- Make sure your Linq profile is **published** and visible so others can access it instantly.
