# Do others need the Linq App to connect with me?

No — the other person does *not* need the Linq app to connect with you!

That’s the beauty of Linq. Anyone can simply tap your Linq product or scan your QR code with their phone’s camera to instantly access your information.

- If they don’t have the Linq app, your Linq page will open in their mobile web browser.
- If they do have the Linq app, your page will open in the app and both of you will be automatically added to each other’s contacts.

In short: Linq makes connecting seamless — no app download required!
