# Linq Minicard Placement - Where to put it

## Proper placement of your Linq Minicard is important for smooth NFC scanning. The location of the NFC reader depends on the phone model you’re using.

#### **Best Placement by Device**

- **iPhones** → The NFC reader is located in the **top 1/4 of the phone**.
  
    - Place your Minicard near the **middle or bottom** of the phone for best results.
- **Androids** → The NFC reader is typically located in the **middle of the phone**.
  
    - Place your Minicard near the **top or bottom** for best results.
