Deleting or Unpairing a Product

You can unpair or delete a Linq product and pair it with a new/different Linq page or a separate Linq account.

How to Change the Page Assigned to Your NFC Product

You can change which Linq page your NFC product points to directly from the Linq app. This is helpful if:

  • You’ve updated your branding or role

  • You created a new page you’d rather use

  • You need to move a product to a different Linq account


Option 1: Change the Page on the Same Account

Use this if you just want to assign the NFC product to a different page under the same login.

  1. Open the Linq app/ or www.linqapp.com/welcome and go to the Home/Pages screen.

  2. Tap the Products icon

  3. On the Products page, find and select the product you want to update.

  4. Choose Pair with a Different Page.

  5. Select the new page you want this product to point to.

  6. Confirm your selection.

Your NFC product will now open the new page when it’s tapped or scanned.


Option 2: Move the Product to a Different Linq Account

Use this if the product needs to be used by someone with different login credentials (for example, another team member’s separate account).

⚠️ Important: To move a product to another account, it must first be deleted (unpaired) from the current account.

  1. In the Linq app, go to the Home screen and tap the Products icon.

  2. On the Products page, select the product you want to move.

  3. Tap Delete to remove it from this account.

    1. This frees the NFC product so it can be activated under another login.

Then:

  1. Log out, and log in to the new Linq account that should own the product.

  2. Go to Home → Activate a Product (Mobile only).

  3. Follow the activation steps (scan the NFC/QR or enter the code) and assign it to a page on this new account.

Once activated, the product will now belong to the new account and open that account’s assigned page.

Activating a Product from the Admin Dashboard (Web)

Admins can also activate products directly from the web dashboard—helpful when you’re setting up cards or badges for a whole team.

Steps:

  1. Log in at linqapp.com/welcome using your admin account.

  2. In the left navigation, click Products.

  3. Choose one of the two activation options:

    • Scan to Search/Activate (top of the page), or

    • Activate a Product (right-side panel under “Educate Your Team”).

  1. Follow the prompts on-screen to:

    • Use your computer’s camera to scan the product QR code/upload a picture

  2. When prompted, select which user/page the product should be assigned to.

  3. Confirm and save. The product will now appear as Activated in the Products list and will open the assigned Linq page when tapped or scanned.

This workflow is ideal for admins who are bulk-activating products before handing them out to team members.
